Teeth Cleaning
- Good oral hygiene starts with regular dental cleanings. Regular teeth cleaning helps remove plaque and tartar build-up, which contribute to periodontal disease. We recommend all patients schedule this one hour appointment twice each year.

Preventative Care - Regular checkups are essential for early detection of dental problem and to keep your mouth, teeth and gums healthy. Early detection makes treatment easier, less expensive and more successful and effective. In your dental exam, Dr. Bockwoldt or Dr. Taylor will perform the following routine checks:

  • Examine and assess gum health; check for gum disease.
  • Diagnose any existing tooth decay.
  • When indicated, take and analyze x-rays, which may reveal decay, bone loss, abscesses, tumors, cysts, and other problems.
  • Screen for the presence of oral cancer.
  • Verify the stability of any existing fillings or other restorations.
  • Inform you of all findings and make treatment recommendations

Digital Radiography - Our office uses only digital radiographs. Digital radiographs are environmentaly friendly, are of better diagnostic value and expose our patient to a significantly lower dose of radiation.

Pediatric Dentists
- Both Dr. Bockwoldt and Dr. Taylor love to work with children! Our child friendly environment is designed to enhance your family dental visit. We are committed to delivering fun and caring dental experiences for children.

Fillings - We provide restoration of tooth structure with metal, porcelain or resin materials. We will take care of you and your family's cavities by using the most current technology available for fillings.

Silver Filling Replacement - We offer mercury-free fillings and replacements for those patients who prefer this option. Porcelain and composite resin tooth-colored restorations are not only beautiful, but also add strength to weakened teeth.

Teeth Whitening - Teeth Whitening is an easy and affordable process that can eliminate stains and discoloration to restore a beautiful smile.

Digital Dental X-Rays - Dental x-rays are essential diagnostic tools that provide valuable information to help us evaluate your oral health. We can look at what is happening beneath the surface of your teeth and gums to identify any potential problems and create an individualized dental treatment plan.

Crowns - A crown is a cap that is designed to be placed over a tooth to restore its strength and improve its appearance. A crown may be needed for traumatic fractures, wear due to teeth grinding, tooth decay, cracked fillings and root canals.

Six Month Smiles - Are you uncomfortable with your smile? Dr. Taylor is a Six Month Smiles provider for adults. Clear braces to gently straighten and align teeth, the average time most people wear braces is just six months.

Root Canal Treatment -If root canal treatment is indicated, Dr. Taylor will remove the infected pulp and replace it with a rubber filling material. The tooth is then covered with a protective crown, which reinforces the tooth against future fractures and enhances the tooth's appearance. Root canals have an extremely high success rate in saving teeth that would otherwise be lost to infection.

Implants - Implants begin with a surgically placed post that is securely anchored into the jawbone. The bone surrounding the anchor will heal in approximately six months. With a completely solid and stable anchor point a crown is placed. The end result is virtually indistinguishable form a natural tooth, both from an aesthetic and functional standpoint. In cases where several teeth are missing, dental implants can also act as the teeth to which bridges are fixed, again mimicking the function of healthy, natural teeth.

Therapeutic Botox treatment for TMJ pain - Botox treatment for TMJ pain is a simple, non-surgical procedure where the botox is injected into certain muscles in order for them to relax. Schedule a TMJ treatment consultation with Dr. Taylor for more information.

Extractions and Prosthetics- When a tooth is beyond repair, Dr. Taylor will extract the tooth to sustain and preserve the health of your gums and bone. A failed tooth can be caused by an unsuccessful root canal, periodontal disease, or extensive tooth decay, in which case an extraction can bring relief. If replacement with an implant is not an option, a partial or denture can be made for tooth replacement.
